Testimony of an Era

Courtyard Publishing is producing a 350 page, large format, photographic book which will chronicle, in detail, the pictures taken by homeless individuals around the country. Accompanying the photos, will be a narrative by William Edwards. This book will compliment the exhibition and explore in further detail the meaning behind the pictures and the journey that it took to create this project.

First and foremost this book is a work of art, as opposed to an anthropological or political piece. William wants to reach everyone who is not homeless and who may not normally think twice about a “vagrant” they see begging for spare change. This project is designed to show that all people, no matter their circumstance, are capable of producing great works of creativity and purpose.
